Video: Brazilian Fan Survives A 40 feet fall after he plummeted from stadium’s top stand

The horrifying moment recently captured on camera when a Brazilian football fan fell from 40ft at a stadium before he managed to land on two people sitting who were sitting on the lower stand. All three people incredibly surviving the ordeal.

The shocking incident happened at the Estadio Cicero Pompeu de Toledo stadium in Sao Paulo, where Brazilian rivals Sao Paulo and Gremio were in action.

The 23-year-old man, identified as Lago de Melo Rios, was trying to climb on the railing in excitement when he unexpectedly plunged off from the upper deck falling for almost 40ft. He almost hit two people including a 13-year-old girl.

Rios somehow survived from the sickening fall and was immediately rushed to a local hospital. He has suffered a broken femur, while the girl is fortunately unscathed from the incident.

Rios mother said, “His girlfriend called me and said she had seen it on the internet.”

“She saw that someone had fallen in the stadium. She called him straight away and someone answered the phone saying that it was him who had fallen from the top tier of the Morumbi, just minutes after it happened. It was a real scare.”
