Gymnast Katelyn Ohashi is definitely the star of the week in the internet world. Since the footage of her amazing routine on Saturday’s Collegiate Challenge in Anaheim, CA, went viral, this is simply everyone is talking about on social media.
Ohashi wowed everyone including the judges with her tremendous splits and flips as well as the perfect dancing which she did in between to a medley of hit songs including Michael Jackson’s “The Way You Make Me Feel,.”
As of 17th Jan, this two-minute clip had been viewed more than 39 million times.

The routine did earn her a perfect 10, but as the UCLA Gymnastics tweet reads, “A 10 isn’t enough for this floor routine by @katelyn_ohashi.”
And for those who have watched the video, you will agree that it really isn’t. We hope there could be an exception and she could get an 11.
If Ohashi seems familiar to you, it’s because this is not her first time in the viral internet world. A routine of hers from April 2018 set to Michael Jackson songs also stormed the internet when it first came out.

It seems like the King of Pop is definitely an inspiration for the Seattle-born Ohashi.
Ohashi’s perfect performances would impress you even more when you will get to know she’s actually had injuries like torn shoulders and a fractured back.
Speaking to the UCLA’s student newspaper, Kondos Field said “Her whole floor routine is ridiculously hard. Every single thing about it including the backwards split that she does after her leap pass – it’s insane.”
Ohashi received a lot of praise from a lot of people and also none other than Kamala Harris.

Many people loved the way her team followed along:
The best part of this is her teammates doing the choreography with her in the background. Cute! https://t.co/GuAvOSJg5F
