Patton Oswalt Just trolled a twitter user just by his act of kindness.

Actor and entertainer Patton Oswalt has become popular as a straight-forward yet compassionate person. His open attitude towards discussing his depression and dad-hood after his wife’s death has touched people’s hearts. Moreover, on Twitter, Oswalt has demonstrated that he is undeniably a standout amongst the most kind-hearted celebrities in Hollywood.

A man who was rude to Oswalt on Twitter required help. Without thinking twice, he encouraged people to help the man.

Michael Beatty had commented on Twitter to Oswalt, “I just realized why I was so happy you died in Blade Trinity!” and “And you shoot the basketball like [sic] the sawed-off little man you are.” This was as a reply to Oswalt’s response to one of Trump’s tweet.

Instead of getting into a word-war with the man, he dug deep on the Timeline of the person and tweeted:

Aw, man,” he commented. “This dude just attacked me on Twitter and I joked back but then I looked at his timeline and he’s in a LOT of trouble health-wise. I’d be pissed off too. He’s been dealt some shitty cards — let’s deal him some good ones. Click and donate — just like I’m about to.”

Beatty has shared on Twitter a GoFundMe portraying an ongoing, nerve-racking fourteen-day hospitalization. He is combating sepsis, a lethal blood disease, and diabetes. Oswalt empathized with this man who had said nothing but nasty things to him. He shared the GoFundMe link with his followers and urged people to donate.

Oswalt gave $2000 himself toward the man’s $5000 objective. A couple of hours after this, his followers raised to $12,000.

As of now, GoFundMe has raised nearly $43,000. Beatty reacted with a heart-touching, true message for Oswalt: “Patton,” he said. “You have humbled me to the point where I can barely compose my words. You have caused me to take pause and reflect on how harmful words from my mouth could result in such an outpouring. Thank you for this and I will pass this on to my cousin who needs help. A cascade.”

Beatty lined that up with another tweet expressing gratitude toward everybody who gave:

Netizens have reacted positively to Oswalt’s generosity and Beatty’s response.

Oswalt’s kind gesture has a message for us. Be nice even with those who are not with you. After all, no enmity is greater than humanity.
