Lady Gaga was overwhelmed with joy as she was joined by Bradley Cooper on stage for a passionate rendition of “Shallow” during her Las Vegas residency Enigma concert on Saturday evening.
Lady Gaga captivated the audience as she took to the piano, while Bradley Cooper made people crazy with his incredible vocal skills for the country single.
A perfect display of their chemistry, the pair gazed at each other throughout the debut. ‘Shallow’ was the closing number for Gaga’s show.
At one point, the Telephone singer rested her elbows on Bradley’s knees as they were mimicking their character’s performance.
The Hangover star opted for a casual look, sporting a black denim jacket, box-fresh trainers and chino trousers. Gaga with her bright blue wig rocked an over-sized black tee with thigh-high boots.
Earlier this month, the actress while collecting her Best Actress prize at the National Board of Review Awards, thanked her co-star for changing her life.
Gaga began: ‘I would not be standing up here if it weren’t for you, Bradley. Thank you for entrusting me to be the first leading actress in your directorial debut. This is a tremendous honour.
‘Bradley, you truly are a musician. I heard it. I watched it… from the moment you sat at the piano with me and sang, to watching you write songs and watching you create.’
‘Bradley, thank you for making a film about the importance of compassion, empathy and kindness. This is what we stand for. I couldn’t be more happy to be here, which in the name of Jack and Ally, is about true, unconditional love.
‘Bradley, our scenes together were challenging and life-changing as an actress and a human. I would never forgot the deep dives we took together.
‘What many of you did not get to witness, for Bradley to direct a scene where he was gone, and for me and Sam Elliott, to mourn his death while he was not three feet from us… this is a magician.
‘You are something of a modern day directorial Houdini. To live and exist in that pain with you, it changed my life.’
A Star Is Born won Critics’ Choice awards for Best Song and Best Actress, as well as a Golden Globe for Best Original Song.
The critically-acclaimed film follows Gaga’s character Ally who is a girl-next-door. She gives up on a music career until she gets discovered by grizzled rock star Jackson, played by Bradley himself.
