A woman recently saved her partner’s life from 22,500 km away while they were on a long-distance call after she realised he was having a stroke.
Madisen Trudell on phone with her partner Joseph in Brisbane when she realized he was not acting normal.
Ms Trudell noticed that Joseph was slurring his speech and she quickly called a friend who rushed to meet his friend.
According to the Courier Mail, Joseph was having a stroke and his partner’s quick thinking actually saved his life.
Ms Trudell said, ‘I kept Joseph on the phone on speaker while I made contact to get him help.’
‘He seemed frightened and realised something was wrong but didn’t know what it was.’
She further said, ‘I passed by a big sign every day on my way to work warning of the symptoms of stroke and somehow the information just stuck with me.’
While Joseph lost all feeling in the right side of his body, her quick thinking helped him avoid the worst outcome.
