Prince George is all excited about his new curriculum for the school year at Thomas’s Battersea in London. His new curriculum will also include weekly ballet lessons.
The little prince recently became the topic of discussion on Good Morning America with host Lara Spencer sparking a heated backlash for her reaction to his interest in ballet dancing.
Lara said on GMA, “Details of George’s curriculum have been released, making us all really happy we don’t have to do homework anymore. In addition to the usual first or second grade things like math, science, and history, the future king of England will be putting down the Play-Doh to take on religious studies, computer programming, poetry, and ballet, among other things.”
The sound of giggles was all around the talk show as the segment cut away to photos of Prince George.
Lara continued, “Prince William says George absolutely loves ballet. I have news for you, Prince William; we’ll see how long that lasts.”
Celebrities like Rosie O’Donnell and George Takai came to the royal family’s defense with scores of viewers taking to social media to express their disappointment.
Lara has since issued an apology on Instagram. She wrote, “My deepest apologies for an insensitive comment I made during pop news on Thursday. From ballet, which I took as a kid, to anything in life you wish to explore, I fully believe we should all pursue our passion. Go climb your mountain — and love every minute of it.”
