Footage showing Dozens looting Philadelphia

Philadelphia police have released a video demonstrating a large group of people running into a Walgreens store and causing thousands of dollars in damage last week. Investigators state the South Philadelphia incident occurred at around 10 p.m. on Thursday and included a huge gathering of people who “look like teens.”

The group “raged the Walgreens store” and “ran around knocking items off of the shelves,” according to police. The video caught three men going through a walkway, knocking cosmetics off store racks. Another camera angle captured a larger group knocking other items off shelves.

Take a look at the video:

The video released by police demonstrated one kid grabbing items off of racks near the checkout counter and throwing the items at employees. A few people in the gathering can be seen filming on their cell phones. The group is also seen running out of the store with items in their hands, including soft drinks and snacks.
