American Airlines affirmed that Adler and his family were expelled from the trip after ‘a few travelers’ complained about their body odor. The aircraft said the family was given a hotel room and dinner vouchers for the night and booked onto another flight for Thursday morning.
Adler said the aircraft had guaranteed to take their baggage – including their vehicle seat and baby buggy – off the plane yet it rather went to Detroit without them. The couple was brought together with their luggage in Detroit.
Jennie said: the couple stopped a few people in the airplane terminal to inquire as to whether they smelled.
She further added: ‘It’s embarrassing but we asked them, “Do you think we smell? Because we just got kicked off a plane for smelling, And they were like, “Oh my god, we’re so embarrassed for you that someone would do such a thing, no!
Adler said the kicked off from the plane from some other reason, but he did not disclose.
