Cop rescued a 2-year-old girl after her parents passed away in tragic circumstances

A two-year-old girl wearing only a diaper was found alive in her crib inside her family’s home in Los Angeles. Her parents passed away and were found in the house in what seems like a m*rder-s*icide case.

Police entered the house in the 11200 block of Covello Street in the Sun Valley section of Los Angeles and found a 39-year-old woman with multiple gunshot wounds.

Lying close to her was a man in his 60s, believed to be her husband, who had sustained a single wound.

LAPD detectives said that it appears as the man first k*lled his wife before taking his own life.

The couple’s two-year-old daughter was found unharmed in a bedroom.

LAPD Lt. Mike Kodak said, ‘She was in a safe playpen with toys. She didn’t seem to know what was going on, obviously at that age.’
